History

40 years ago – The mechanism of the congenital malformations development during pregnancy (abuse of drugs, industrial and agricultural harmfulness, alcohol and other unfavorable factors) is being researched in the Department of Embryology, Institute of Experimental Medicine Academy of Medical Sciences. Scientists are trying to find a way to solve the Talidomid disaster.

1972 - The properties of the Polyscias filicifolia are being researched. His extracts are for more than ten pharmacological properties superior to those of other known Aralia extracts. It was noticed that in parts of New Zealand and Indochina, where Poliscias grows and locals use it in food, congenital disorders are low.

1985 - "Method of the teratogenic effect modeling " - an inventor's certificate number 1218812.

1995 – The strain has been obtained from a sheet of Polyscias filicifolia, which is deposited in the All-Russian Collection of cell cultures - number 58 (RF patent number 2,337,138, 2006/2008). Today it is the only one strain of Polyscias filicifolia, which is registered in the All-Russian Collection. On this basis a technology that is suitable for industrial growth of Polyscias in bioreactors has been developed.

1995 – The answer to the Talidomid disaster is found - invention of "Vitagmal", the antiteratogenic biologically active additive (the extract of Poliscias filicifolia reduces the risk of congenital disorders - Patent RF № 2058786). Patent RF № 2066686 –the  Poliscias filicifolia extract reduces the toxic effect of alcohol on liver and brain.


2001-2002 - the inclusion of "Vitagmal" in the list of "Additional measures for prevention of influenza and SARS" of the Health Committee of St. Petersburg.

2003 – the series of creams "Vitagmalin" has been created: against allergy, vascular diseases of the feet, arthritis, psoriasis, mycosis.

2005 - "Prevention of adverse environmental effects in pregnant women" - the E.G. Gavrilova dissertation with the help of the Honored Scientist, Professor N.G. Kosheleva. It was proved that "Vitagmal" reduces the adverse environmental effects on pregnant women, their fetuses and newborns, normalizing the adaptation and adaptive reactions in the period of gestation.

2005 – the "Trifitol"creation: against SARS, chronic infectious and inflammatory processes in the oral cavity and ENT-organs, catarrhal phenomena of the upper respiratory tract.

2007 - "Vitagmal" is registered in Ukraine.

2009 - "Vitagmal" is included in the "Prevention and treatment of miscarriage" guidelines  of the State Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

2009 - "Vitagmal" and "Trifitol" are registered in Uzbekistan.

2010 – Studies of the influence of Polyscias filicifolia and deprenyl on the anti-aging mechanisms.
